HERBS FROM TUAN HAJI HASNIN'S HOUSE
As usual I went with Fydo to look for herbal plants in the areas surrounding our school to add to our Herb Garden. Today we looked for the Kucing Galak plant near the Pasir Panjang surau. Since I was not too sure if I got the correct plant, we went to Tuan Haji Hasnin's house which is in this area to ask if I got the correct plant.

Besides confirming the plant was Kucing Galak, Tuan Haji Hasnin also showed us some of the herbs grown in his garden. He had the pitcher plant, lemon tree, mas cotek, beri-beri tree and other species of herbs. Fydo and I were much taken with the beri-beri tree as the fruits taste a bit like strawberries and look very nice. We even got cuttings to take back to plant.
