TLDM VISIT

I accompanied the boys of Company B to the naval base on Sunday morning. We were only allowed into the base at around 8.45 a.m. as visiting hours for the weekends start only after 9.00 a.m. At first we went to KD Rajawali to look at some of the helicopters there. These are very expensive machines costing millions of ringgit and the boys and the teachers were given a briefing about them. After that we got to go up KD Perantau. The boys and teachers were shown around the ship by the officers on duty. Unfortunately, I had to leave halfway to go to the fire station as I wanted to take pictures of the girls fighting a fire.
