Battling it out to be Numero Uno

Our boys will be doing their best to carry home the champions trophy for the District Hockey Tournament. The finals will be played at the Lumut Stadium which is located in the Naval Base. Let's keep our fingers crossed that our boys will be the 2006 champions.

Discharged

Our lab assistant, Encik Sazali, has been discharged from hospital and is now recovering at home. According to a member of the staff who has visited him, he is said to be suffering from kidney stones, high blood pressure and gastritis. Let's hope he makes a speedy recovery. He has to be fit and healthy to help his expectant wife look after their new baby who is due somewhere towards the end of the year.

Launch of events

Two events will be launched next week. On Monday, 19th June, there is the launch of Co-operation Week and then on Friday, Gempak Bola will kick off to a start.

Coming Soon

Watch out for the English Language Week which is tentatively scheduled to be held at the end of July. Already several interesting events have been mooted. Among them are an egg standing competition, Drama competition and Newsletter Writing Competition.
