What is a newsletter?
It is again time for another of my English lessons. Today, I would like to teach you about what a newsletter is. First of all, let us look at how to say the word. The word is pronounced as (nOOz'let"ur, nyOOz'-).
A newsletter is a written report, usually issued periodically, prepared by or for a group or institution, as a school, business firm, charitable organization, or government agency, to present information to students, employees, contributors, stockholders, etc., and often to the press and public. The newsletter is a regular publication which usually focusses on a particular subject, such as the news of special interest to a special interest group. It can also contain analysis of the news, often providing forecasts, typically directed at a special audience, as business people, and mailed to subscribers.A newsletter may have announcements and events listings. It may be in print or sent via the electronic mail.
You can design a newsletter by using Web Wizards found in Publisher or Microsoft Word.
