STRESS
Unless we are living up in the mountains like some hermits or some remote areas where not much happens, we are bound to have stress in our lives. It is very common to have stress in our lives, either through work, or family, or even just day to day activities. Well stress can have both negative and positive effects on people. Often, it is a combination of both. It is therefore wise to be able to learn of some ways to relieve stress. Below are some tips that are quick to do and will be good for you.
Tip #1: Breathe more
Try taking a few deep breaths if you are feeling stressed. Chances are that a sense of calmness and relaxation will follow.
Tip #2: Simplify your life
Talk things over with your family, friends or your colleagues. There are a number of great ways to take some of the stress off your shoulders and distribute it across the board. Decide what you need to be happy, what you need to obtain it and just get rid of the rest.Tip #3: Exercise
Exercise is not only great for the body but also ones mental state. It is a great stress relief tip as it allows you to release some of the excess energy and emotion that becomes lockedr inside during high stress situations. You don't really have to do a lot of exercise every day. Taking a short walk, some simple stretches or an aerobic exercise is a great stress relief tip.
What do I do when I am stressed? Well, just watching tapes of Jung Ji Hoon perform or listening to his songs would relax me a lot. That is indeed therapy for me. Sometimes, when I am feeling stressed out I go and visit my friend, Eric, who owns the Golden Inn Music Centre in Seri Manjung. I find that chatting with him really takes a lot off my shoulders. Furthermore, the topics we talk about have nothing remotely to do with school work and that of course, helps to take my mind off work.
These past few weeks have been especially stressful for me and I made a beeline to visit Eric after I left school at 4.00 p.m. Eric took the above picture of me sitting on the other end of the counter of his shop.
