UPSI CONVOCATION DAY

Hee! Hee! Hee! I am very happy today as I was finally conferred my Masters degree in TESL by Raja Permaisuri Bainun who is the Chancellor of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. Also, a reporter from one of the Chinese newspapers interviewed me and so hopefully my picture will appear in either Sin Chew Jit Poh or Nanyang Siang Poh. As you can see I am decked in my graduation robe and mortar board. Note that for the Masters degree graduands, their robes have two yellow stripes on the sleeves. The robes for the first degree holders only have one yellow stripe. Obviously, anyone who gets a doctorate will wear a robe with three yellow stripes on each sleeve. And the added bonus is that he or she will get to keep the garment and the hat. Since, I would like to have a set of the robe for myself, my next target is to continue studying until I am conferred a doctorate in education.
