PEOPLE I WISH TO THANK
After the graduation ceremony, I took time to go look for the lecturers who had taught and guided me until I got my Masters degree. I wanted to thank each and everyone of them for teaching me as I have learnt a lot from them. As I had opted to do full research, I did not have to attend many courses and that meant I did not have that many lecturers. Also, some of the courses I attended were taught by the same lecturers. Associate Professor Dr. Sali Zaliha Mustapha taught me Sociolinguistics and Psycholinguistics. I attended Associate Professor Dr. N. S. Rajendran's lectures for Naturalistic Research and Thinking Skills. For Experimental Research, my lecturer was Dr Quek. Then there was my research supervisor and advisor, Dr Nor Azmi Mostafa who guided me all the way from day one until the completion of my dissertation.
I hope that, like me, all students should appreciate the hard work and the guidance of their teachers and find time to look up teachers and lecturers to personally express their gratitude for teaching them.
I snapped this picture of Dr Rajendran at 3.00 p.m. in his room today. He went on sabbatical in the United States of America and has just resumed his duties at UPSI. Believe me, he is a very inspirational lecturer and his lectures are always interesting and very, very educational. If you get to study at UPSI one day, take my advice and attend one of the courses that he teaches. You will thank me for it. It is the same for Dr. Sali Zaliha (see picture of her taken with her Masters student after one of her lectures) . She is a dream of a lecturer and is just as captivating and inspirational a lecturer as Dr. Rajendran.
