NEXT RESOURCE CENTRE PROJECT: HERBS

Early this morning I went to the Thursday market at Kampung Koh to look for herbal plants that could be featured in the exhibition on herbs that is being planned. I met up with Amir (pictured above), one of our present students, who was there with his family. He was busy taking pictures of the flowers with his camera phone.

The committee members and I took about two months to prepare for the Malay Wedding Exhibition and I think it will be the same for this new project. Puan Idayati who is in-charge of the Herb Garden has been collecting a lot of data on different types of herbs. I know she has compiled a folio of herbs and their medicinal use for the resource centre. Both she and I have discussed the matter and plan to upload the information into the resource centre website and also to publish a booklet on herbs. I have also been in discussion with Cikgu Ridaudin, the president of the KGKT, to work together for this new project. Definitely, there will be food and cooking involved. So, do give your support for all our efforts.
