THEY RAISE YOU UP

Here are the lyrics to one of my favourite songs, "You Raise Me Up" sung by Josh Groban. As you listen to Groban's heavenly voice, do ponder on the meaning of the song. It is impactful and if you look closely, you'll find that the parents, guardians and teachers are the ones who help raise a child up. All their efforts and sacrifices should be appreciated.
YOU RAISE ME UP
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up. To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up. To more than I can be.
