FRAUDULENT PRACTICE

There was news coverage in the STAR newspaper about people tampering with their academic certificates to get into higher institutions of learning or to get a better job. There were also some who doctored their payslips to apply for credit cards. These people would go to a few of the shops who offered such services for a fee. However, I read in the report that the people involved would refuse to tamper with medical or pharmaceutical certificates as they involved human lives. Well! Don't these people realise that each and every profession is important? If an engineer is found wanting, then roads or buildings might be improperly built which would also result in loss of lives.
