ENCIK SUHAIMI IBRAHIM

The teacher pictured in the very regal coloured Baju Melayu is Encik Suhaimi Ibrahim. After completing his teacher training course in Maktab Perguruan Teknik in Kuala Lumpur, he was posted to this school in 1992 and has been here ever since. He specialises in electrical installation and teach the SKM students at the JDI workshop.
In my opinion, Encik Suhaimi is a really shy and quiet man. I think that was the reason why it took him so long to express his feelings to his wife, Puan NorAmlina, who also teaches in this school. But he finally managed to overcome his shyness and proposed to her. They were married in May, 1996. The happy couple have four children, three girls and a boy. Their names are Mawaddah (7 years), Maheerah (6 years), Muna Izzah (4 years) and Muhammad Marwan (18 months).
He has just completed a degree course at the Open Universtiy of Malaysia and has been awarded a Bachelor of Education in Electrical Engineering. When asked whether he was going to further his education, he said that he would K.I.V. the idea,
He enjoys sports, especially football and badminton. One would not be surprised to find him and the other teachers having a game of badminton in the school hall in the late afternoon. Last time he used to go fishing a lot but his trips are less frequent now. I am sure he is busy helping his wife at home and also spending time with his four children.
His favourite food is Fried Kiow Tiow prepared by his mother. He likes the colours green and purple. For your information, Encik Suhaimi already celebrated his birthday last month on the 23rd of June.
